Joining an affiliate program

This knowledge base article shows how affiliates can join an affiliate program hosted at Digital Delivery App and view stats on their referrals. For details on how to setup your own affiliate program please see this knowledge base article

The owner of the affiliate program provides a registration url that you use to join the program. How this is done will depend on the affiliate with some programs being invite only whilst others are public for all to join. Either way, when visiting the url you are presented with a screen like this:

Here you can login or register for a Digital Delivery App affiliate account if you don't already have one. Once through this step you are presented with a screen where you can confirm you'd like to join the affiliate program:

Review the terms and if you agree check the agree box and click Join. You will then be taken to the affiliate program page:

This page has details of the program and your performance so far. On the right sidebar are a series of links that enable you to perform common activities associated with the program. These are described below:

Program Screens

The first item is the site and direct links page which has the links that need to be copied to make the referrals. Also on this screen are the commission rates paid for each item:

You can use the site links to redirects potential buyers to the merchants website via our servers. This sets a cookie on the buyers browser so we know when a buyer makes a purchase that you referred the sale. It is also possible if the merchant has enabled it, to sell items directly. By this we mean you market the product on your website and rather than including a link to visit the merchants site for purchase, you have a link straight to the payment pages yourself. This normally results in higher conversion rates but does mean that you only earn commission on that one item rather than potentially several if you sent the buyer to the merchants website.

The program page also has links to view the orders you've referred, see your monthly payouts to date and contact the merchant should you have any questions or problems:

As an affiliate you can join may programs run by different merchants. The summary of your sales are shown on the dashboard which you view when you first login. From here you can navigate to the particular program you'd like more details about where you can access the screens described above:
